What is the ServiceNow MVP Program?

The ServiceNow MVP program recognizes the top individual contributors in ServiceNow's online community. ServiceNow MVPs are recognized by the collective community for their product expertise and contributions. ServiceNow MVPs demonstrate a commitment to engage, guide, and share expertise with their peers.   MVPs represent the voice of the community.   The ServiceNow MVP Program recognizes the sizable and credible influence our top individual members demonstrate on the ServiceNow Community.

Why become a ServiceNow MVP?

Peer recognition truly demonstrates depth of product knowledge and ability to articulate and solve real world problems.   MVP status gives its members a new level of credibility and recognition in the industry. This is truly an elite group:   Less than 1% of community members are recognized as MVPs.

Who is eligible to be a ServiceNow MVP?

All registered members of the ServiceNow Community are eligible for induction to the ServiceNow MVP Program.   This program is intended to recognize ServiceNow's enthusiasts who contribute in the communities.   ServiceNow reserves the right to revoke ServiceNow MVP status for an individual.

What are the benefits of being a ServiceNow MVP?

Current ServiceNow MVPs will have a "MVP badge" placed throughout the community anyplace their username appears to showcase their achievement.   The badge will indicate their MVP status and display the details of which product area they have been recognized for.   After the award period ends the "badge" will be displayed in the members profile page.   In addition, ServiceNow MVPs are provided additional benefits including:

  • Complimentary full conference pass to our Knowledge event
  • Access to a privileged community where you can engage with MVP peers and ServiceNow
  • Advisory communities to shape the direction of future products.
  • Exclusive MVP online events with ServiceNow experts on areas of interest

Based on MVP feedback new benefits will be introduced as the program evolves.

How long does the ServiceNow MVP award last?

Once selected, ServiceNow MVP benefits last for one calendar year.   Members must qualify each year to retain their status and benefits.

What are the eligibility criteria for ServiceNow MVP Program?

You must be a registered ServiceNow Community member to be eligible for the MVP Program.   To qualify for consideration, you must be consistently active on the community, have been recognized for superior product expertise by your peers (e.g., Questions Answered, Helpful Answers).     All contributions types are taken into consideration (e.g., discussion replies, documents, blogs, videos, etc.)   You must also demonstrate willingness to help others, professionalism, and a significant positive impact on the community.

How can I become a MVP in the ServiceNow Community?
The Community team select the ServiceNow MVPs each year on the Community.   The panel reviews community contributions from the previous 12 months.   The nominees are then evaluated on technical knowledge, community influence, leadership, and impact within the Product.   There is no set benchmark for becoming a MVP, in part because it is dependent on life-cycle stage of the product.

When are MVP designations awarded?
Nominees are reviewed in December and awards are given out in January of each year.   ServiceNow reserves the right to induct MVPs at other times if warranted.
