MS Teams branding is now available for the Conversational Integration! Thanks to Microsoft for delivering on the feature. Here is how to add your own name and icon to the Now Virtual Agent bot in Teams.

Microsoft's official documentation: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/customize-apps

Note: If installing the ITSM or HRSD integration with MS Teams, you can brand the app via the manifest file. See more here. The steps below are for the Conversational Integration.

Prerequisites:

Process

1. Navigate to your MS Teams admin center: https://teams.admin.microsoft.com

On the left-hand toolbar, click "Teams Apps > Manage apps"

2. In the list of apps, use the search bar to search for the "Now Virtual Agent" app. Click to open it.

3. Because the app is customizable, you can now click the 'pencil' icon to begin branding the app.

4. You can change the app's name, icon, description, smallImageURL, and accent color. Note for the icon, the max dimensions are 192x192p.

Hi victor,

Is there any way to restrict users to chat in MS teams until they select the option similar to portal VA chat? Thanks in advance.

Hello, is there a way to have settled more than one chatbot under ITSM integration with MS Teams?

Hi Victor,

In the chat area, the Bot icon is displayed as your image. How can I update that Icon. Recently I had updated manifest file, but this icon changed automatically to the APP icon.
