Hi,
I note that Guided Tours will not be available on Next Experience. Please can you advise what will be the replacement for this incredibly useful feature?
Thanks,
Katie
Hi Katie,
There is a built in onboarding module for the Next Experience UI itself on the landing page, but this does not replace the Guided Tour functionality for other products in the platform.
As of the San Diego release customers that are using Guided Tours should wait to adopt Next Experience UI if the onboarding functionality in the landing page does not meet their needs.
Guided Tours is on the roadmap to be enabled with Next Experience
As an update, existing Guided Tours for Service Portal are available with Next Experience enabled, but we do advise testing.
In San Diego Patch 9/Tokyo Patch 4 and Utah, you should be able to run existing Guided Tours in the Classic Environment (Forms and Lists) as well.
New tour creation is on the roadmap.
Thanks for those details!
Can you give any kind of idea of what timing means for something that is "on the roadmap"? Does that mean a release after Utah? Vancouver? Washington? Or is there a more dynamic prioritization of development based on demand?
