Hi Everyone !
In this article I will give you an overview of Software Asset Management (SAM) Professional.
The ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Professional product facilitates the tracking, evaluation, and management of software license rights, compliance, and optimization.
Working in conjunction with other ServiceNow platform products, software license rights can be requested, procured, managed to software contracts, allocated to users or devices, and reclaimed. Software installations can be discovered, normalized, and reconciled to software products, models, entitlements and allocations to quickly identify the software license position.
It goes without saying that every company wants to reduce software, operational and support budgets over time. To ensure license spend and infrastructure costs are closely aligned to business strategy – and to negate the risk of being over or under licensed. ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Professional helps customers:
When defining the requirements for SAM, keep a phased approach in mind. If you plan to do everything "out of the gate", it will reduce ability to show value quickly and make it extremely difficult to manage.
Follow the capability blueprint, as it is a good practice for implementing and maturing a software Asset Management program. As you mature your Software Asset Management program, keep the Capability Blueprint in mind. Each tier of the blueprint needs to be considered for every phase of implementation and maturity.
I highly recommend using this application so that you are like this
and don’t end up like this😂😂😂😂
