As years pass by, knowledge event has only become bigger and better. K18 event recently glanced 18,000 registered customers, partners and employees.  Big thank you to everyone who were on stage to share about their successful CMDB/Discovery and service mapping journey. The message was loud and clear. CMDB & Discovery projects are a strategic initiative and not just an operational imperative. 

 With the fast-paced compute revolution and move towards cloud, containers and Serverless computing, customers are more intrigued by the value proposition of having a service aware CMDB solution. Sneak Peak of what’s coming in London

The excitement does not stop with our customer sessions. ITOM Product team gave a preview on the upcoming features of CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping with London release.  Machine learning based noise reduction algorithm for service maps, next hop discovery with quick start discovery UI, support for PowerShell remoting and CMDB configuration item duplicate resolver are some of the few standing out features. ITOM Better together play with ITSM also witnessed interesting updates like triggering discovery from change management based on a state of change and discovery enabling citrix publisher pack for software asset management. 

London release for CMDB, Discovery & Service Mapping is content rich and a big step towards the journey to help our customers realize the value from their ServiceNow implementation. Stay tuned for the official London release blog.
