Our teams have been working hard to make our mobile-first experiences more flexible, customizable, and consumer-like. In San Diego we build on a strong Rome release with three strategic themes for mobile: modernizing the look and feel of our apps, creating engaging everyday experiences with native functionality, and improving our developer builders.

Both ServiceNow® mobile apps have received a series of UI updates to further engage and tailor a mobile user's experience. The new look and feel of core components not only modernize our mobile apps but assist with accessibility requirements. The three main changes are:
Mobile Cards
Record Sections
Icon Sections
We are also introducing a couple of highly requested enhancements in control specific app usage, auto client refresh, and multiple single sign-ons.
To better adhere to authentication policies and security requirements, admins now can specify which apps users can use login into their ServiceNow instance(s). Prevent users from logging into the wrong app and easily re-route them with a link to the appropriate app.
After a user completes an action, their app automatically reflects the latest data. A user can now be certain they have the latest information on whichever screen they’re on.
Many customers will have users sign in on desktop computers with different SSO providers based on their user groups, whether they’re pre-hires, contractors, or full-time employees. Our mobile apps will now seamlessly and securely accommodate SSO providers like Microsoft and Google to provide a counterpart mobile experience.
Mobile App Builder and Mobile Card Builder are continually being expanded to create an integrated experience within the Now Platform.
Following an initial launch in the Rome timeframe, Mobile App Builder now supports nearly all mobile components and use cases helping ensure they are accessible for configuring both Mobile Agent and Now Mobile apps. This brings near-complete parity with the now legacy tool, Mobile Studio as well as any other customizations possible via the Now Platform. With this release, Mobile App Builder is also much more inclusive of citizen developers with tutorials and contextualized help buttons.
Mobile Card Builder is also receiving a series of quality-of-life enhancements for better error handling and implementation of UI rules.
