Announcing the Global SNUG Board of Directors. Learn more here
In the new global marketplace, work has changed. Workers are becoming more distributed and work is increasingly digital. A focus on efficiency and competitive differentiation through automation is more important than ever. It’s automation that makes the world work, by orchestrating people, processes, and systems across the enterprise. But accelerating automation is not easy – due to disconnected critical systems, dependence on backlogged CoEs, and expensive, repetitive human work. This is where ServiceNow comes in.
In the San Diego release, we’re excited to introduce ServiceNow® Automation Engine – an all-new automation and integration solution that enables ServiceNow connectivity to modern and legacy systems, all on a single platform.
We’ve also delivered many new enhancements since the Rome release, including new solutions, flow templates, and spokes – to help you rapidly integrate and automate common ServiceNow workflow use cases that involve external systems.
Let's take a look at what’s new in the San Diego family release!
San Diego Family Release
Automation Engine
ServiceNow® Automation Engine is a complete automation and integration solution that combines Integration Hub with all-new RPA (Robotic Process Automation) capabilities. Automation Engine empowers you to make work flow seamlessly by quickly and easily connecting to any system and automating manual, repetitive actions all in a single platform. With Automation Engine, you can now connect both modern and legacy systems into ServiceNow workflows – all in a familiar, native experience right within Flow Designer.
RPA Hub
As part of Automation Engine, we’re also introducing RPA Hub – a brand new ServiceNow capability which orchestrates digital robots that execute repetitive actions otherwise taken by humans. RPA Hub enables organizations to enhance enterprise and employee productivity, while reducing human errors, streamlining processes, and accelerating automation. Now, you can connect legacy systems to ServiceNow workflows to integrate valuable data and automate manual UI actions. Below are some of the new capabilities with RPA Hub:
RPA Hub Spoke
The all-new RPA Hub Spoke enables you to create end-to-end workflow automation all on the Now Platform®, with out-of-the-box RPA Hub actions to add the power of RPA – together with Integration Hub - to flows with no code. With the RPA Hub Spoke, you can simplify and take control of complete integration and RPA for ServiceNow workflows right in Flow Designer.
