The Wiki (wiki.servicenow.com) was the source of product documentation for early ServiceNow versions and it served us well.   But, times have changed.   We needed a site that could provide release-specific information, allow us to route user feedback to the correct writers, and be mobile-device friendly.   To address these needs,   we provided a new Product Documentation site: https://docs.servicenow.com. All product documentation updates for Geneva and later releases are published on the doc site.

We stopped updating the Wiki after the Fuji release. Now that the majority of customers are on Helsinki, Istanbul and Jakarta, it's time to say goodbye to the ServiceNow Wiki.

Doc Site Improvements

We waited almost two years to retire the Wiki because we knew the Product Documentation site needed some improvements.   Based on user feedback, we've improved the search, added content (most recently, the Javascript API reference), and are providing longer topics with a mini table of contents so you can easily jump to your area of interest (example 1, example 2).

Unified Search

Many users depended on the Wiki search to find content across the Product Documentation, Community, and Knowledge Base sites. HI now provides a unified search for all users.   Using the search on HI, you can find information in the Product Documentation, Community, and Knowledge Base AND videos and podcasts.

The HI unified search is available to all, whether you have a HI login or not.

How to Access Fuji and Earlier Content after December 10

Wiki_End_of_Life_Banner_496x64_2017_DEC_10.jpg

On December 10, the Wiki site will no longer be accessible.   All links to the Wiki will redirect either to similar topic pages or the home page on docs.servicenow.com.

For those who still need to access Fuji and earlier content, we will provide PDFs of the Wiki content on the Product Documentation site under "Archived Versions," a new area of the site.   You will be able to download and view the PDFs locally. If your instance still uses Fuji or an earlier release and there are specific Wiki topics you reference frequently, you can create your own PDF "book" before December 10.
