In this 3-Part Series Blog, we are going to discuss the features within the Analytics Hub. Click here for Part 1, here for Part 2 and here for Part 3.

The idea is for this to become a "Quick Lookup Guide" for you whenever you may have a question about what something is or how something works on the Analytics hub. We will first look at the Overview Tab and then in a later Series the Compare Tab.

There are many features on the Analytics Hub that can bring great value to your Organization.  Although the Analytics Hub is not meant to be a replacement for a very well put together Dashboard, it can give you great insight into Indicators.  We are going to zoom into each area of the Analytics Hub and give some details about what you get.

  • Edit Indicator - This will allow you to go directly to the Indicator and edit if you need to.
  • Edit Scores - This will allow you to go directly to the Scoresheet and edit scores if you need to.
  • Remove from favorites - If you have made this particular Analytics Hub a favorite, you can remove that by clicking this menu item.
  • Export to PDF - This will allow you to export things within the Analytics Hub to PDF.  When clicked it will bring up a popup box and you will decide what you would like to export.
  • Export scores to CSV - This will export the daily scores with a date to a CSV document.
  • Save chart as PNG - This will export the chart portion only to a PNG file.
  • Save chart as JPEG - This will export the chart portion only to a JPEG file.
  • Launch Dependency Assessment - This will give you the ability on the fly to see all Dependencies to the Indicator currently being viewed in the Analytics Hub.
  

Overview/Compare Tab

  • Overview Tab - Analyze historical score trends, displayed by default.
  • Compare Tab - Select tow dates and compare the record sets for each of them.

  • Targets - Add a Target with a starting date.
  • Thresholds - Add a Threshold
  • Comments - Enter a comment for a given date.
  • Info - View a brief description of the Indicator.

View Actual Records

You can toggle between showing a time series of scores and a list of records at the bottom of the Overview Tab.  Click Show Records or Hide Records in the upper right corner to toggle.  In either case, the scores or records are shown for the time period that is chosen at the top of the tab.  The scores or records are also filtered by any breakdown/element pairs that you selected.  If you selected multiple elements on a breakdown dashboard and navigated to the Analytics Hub by clicking on a point on a chart showing the aggregate score of those elements, the Analytics Hub lists the records that match any of those elements.

Note:

  • Records are shown only for automated indicators.
  • The Show Records function is not supported for real-time scores of unmatched breakdown elements. If you are viewing scores in real-time, records that are not assigned to any breakdown element are not displayed.
  • You can change the view of the list of records in the context menu of the Records list, depending on the views available to the facts table.  The default view is set on the indicator source.
