More than ever, Communication Service Providers (CSPs) are feeling the pressure to deliver effortless customer services. In order to do this, networks need to be transformed, processes need to be automated and optimized, and operations need to be streamlined. 

The Tokyo release for Telecommunications delivers exciting new innovations that help CSPs optimize network investments and launch services faster. 

Our biggest innovation is a brand-new product, Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI). With TNI, Communications Service Providers can redefine the service experience by consolidating network inventory data and automating end-to-end resource and service lifecycle, all on one platform. If you’re a network engineer, you will love the simplicity of the design and the power of the Platform that helps you deliver services faster and attend to network issues quicker. Key highlights of TNI include: 

  • Network Inventory Workspace simplifies the engineers' day-to-day operations to manage and maintain network inventory, providing flexibility to personalize their workspace and help maximize efficiency.

  • Network Modeling and Templates help network engineers self-serve using low-code no-code to accurately model network resources and design complex templates to easily manage network resources at scale. 
  • Network Design and Assign enables engineers to design complex equipment configurations to deliver end-to-end services and minimize service disruption. 

 

In Telecommunications Service Management (TSM), we've added new features that provide the flexibility to rapidly enhance product and service offerings without disrupting the fulfillment process, including: 

  • Catalog Versioning allows product catalog managers to seamlessly introduce product and service enhancements to published catalogs efficiently and without disruptions.

  • Horizontal Catalog Dependencies help product catalog managers implement compatibility rules for products and services that either include or exclude dependencies with another product or service. 

 

In Order Management for Telecommunications (OMT), we have added the ability to enrich the agent experience, including: 

  • Order Orchestration Visualization enables agents and order fulfillment managers to visualize the complexities of the entire order hierarchy in a single hierarchical view. Agents and order fulfillment managers can visualize granular details of all orders, enabling them to quickly report to a customer the status of any specific order.

  • Enhanced Order Capture offers new powerful productivity capabilities designed to help agents effortlessly capture change and disconnect orders. 

 

In addition, our recent TM Forum Open API conformance certification for TMF621, TMF642, TMF637, TMF622 demonstrates our commitment to simplify integration efforts with out-of-the-box Open APIs.
