Adding Custom Knowledge Base to Service Portal

Hi All,

I have created custom Knowledge Base and the categories.   I am able to see out of the box KB but not the custom in Service Portal.

How can i add this custom KB to Service Portal. Please help me to do this.

there is not a straight forward solution for it. you might need to change or create your custom widget for it.

Hi Pooja,



Service Portal is designed in such a way that only one Knowledge Base can be configured on one portal. If you want your own knowledge base then you can configure it on Portal as mentioned below in Portal.

Also, Knowledge base can have n number of categories. But If knowledge category does not have any article in publish state then category will not be shown in the category widget of Knowledge base in Service Portal.



If you want your category should be present there then create atleast one article under that category in publish state.



If you want to customize it for all knowledge base then you will have to create your own widget.
