Connect Chat Notification

Hi All,

I am currently using Geneva and have implemented Connect. I have created chat queues and enabled "Connect Desktop Notifications".

When a message arrives on the chat queue, we receive this notification:

However, this in-browser notification only lasts for about 3-4 seconds max.

Is there anyway to increase the duration of this notification?

Hi Rahul,

I did a little Google searching and came up with this. I am on a Mac and cannot test it. Hopefully it is helpful.

I tried modifying the notification duration in Windows however, that doesn't work for chrome.

This may actual be more what you need. That chat notification is provided by chrome(The Browser) I think, not windows.

Do you know how this would be configured in ServiceNow? I cannot seem to track down anywhere in the system where the API call is made to the browser so that the NotificationsOptions parameter can be set with requireInteraction?
