sso auto login

Hi all,

Here is the case.  I have setup a SSO at my instance.  Since one of our requirements is let user decide which login method he/she wants (azure ad login or local SN login), I have to turn the auto-redirect off.  But the problem is if I first login to MS Access panel (myapps.microsoft.com), then click on 'Now' icon, the system will bring me to the instance login page instead of auto login me into my instance's homepage.

So did I miss something here? With auto redirect 'ON', auto login works either from MS SaaS or SN.  But now, it only work from SN then switch to

What is the use case for users signing in with local SN accounts?

You should configure authentication so it is easier for most of your users.  I don't know your user population, but I'm going to guess that most would use SSO, so you should enable the auto redirect.  The other users could then use the following URL:

https://instancename.service-now.com/side_door.do

That will direct them to a login page complete with banner and any welcome page content you may have setup.

Turn the auto redirect property on and if the user wants to use SN password then you can share the backdoor login page

We're using AD to auth into ServiceNOW and want to find out if we could do auto sign-in to the system, i.e., click the ServiceNOW URL be automatically logged into the system without having to input your creds because you would have authenticated into your workstation with the same AD creds.
