Hi Team,

We are integrating ServiceNow with SCOM 2016. We have installed MID Server as per the below link:

http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=MID_Server_Installation#gsc.tab=0

We have configuring the connector for SCOM 2016 as per the below link:

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/helsinki-it-operations-management/page/product/event-management/t...

After providing the details, we are clicking on the Test Connector to the connectivity as per the link.

We are getting the below error:

find_real_file.png

Request your help on this.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards,

Praveen.

Hi Praveen,

So on the instance that relates to the MID-Server, when you go to MID Server > Servers, the MID Server is up?

And as per helsinki docs - you are on Helsinki - yes?

https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/helsinki-it-operations-management/page/product/event-management/t...

and all pre-reqs are done:

..

Before starting this procedure, verify:

  • The MID Server resides in the same domain as the SCOM server.
  • The MID Server uses the same time zone as the SCOM server.
  • The MID Server is running on Windows.
  • The MID Server has .NET framework version 3.5.

If Bi-directional is selected, ensure that:

  • PowerShell version 3.0 is installed on Windows.
  • As Windows authentication is used by the connector to access the SCOM API, the MID Server service should be running with a user having read-and-write access to the SCOM API. Do this by ensuring that the correct credentials are used:
    1. In the local services, right-click the MID Server service and select Properties.
    2. In the Log On tab, ensure that This account is selected with the details of the user in the Windows domain having access to the SCOM API.

Role required: evt_mgmt_admin

Have you selected Bi-directional?

Have you checked that the Host IP of the SCOM server is inside the MID - Server IP range?

you should refer to:

MID Server > IP Ranges

You should probably restart the MID - Server after   adding the jar files and dlls

I am sure Community members would be interested in how you are getting on BTW ..
