Use Service Portal login page as default login page

We want to use the Service Portal login page when user opens our main instance URL because the Service Portal login page is much better in terms of design and user experience.

Currently we can only change the login page to pages under Content Management System (under Employee Self-Service) but this is using the old UI of ServiceNow.

KEY ASK: How to use the login page from Service Portal as default login page when main instance URL is accessed.

You need to modify your login rules, Please find the module under Configuration -> Login rules and edit these roles to point to your service portal homepage.

I already tried that but the service portal pages are not showing under the "Content Page" option, it only shows the old Employee Self-Service portal pages. Do you happen to know how to make the Service Portal pages appear when "Content Page" option is used?

Hi,

You should created a system property glide.entry.loggedin.page_ess and add your service portal relative URL as its value, This should work.
