creating dashboards for portal view using 3rd party data

we have been asked to load 3rd party data into servicenow and use this data to create performance analytic dashboards.  

dashboards will be viewed by external customers using our portal.

first question,     has anyone created dashboards using 3rd party data ? and are there any learned tips that can be shared.

second, can dashboards be published to the portal?

This functionality is coming in the near future releases!

Right now there are some example integrations, you can see if it get you started:

Or you can import the data, after that you can create your PA indicators and Widgets.

Another option is to check if a manual indicator would meet your needs.

I presume it is possible to provide dashboard views via the portal so as not to waste ITIL licenses on people who just need access to reporting data?
