Activating Visual Task Boards

I wanted to share an issue I ran into with Visual Task Boards. If the plugin is not automatically activated after upgrading to Eureka you will need to manually do so.   You also want to ensure the Mobile UI plugin is activated or you may experience issues with VTBs.

 

The issue I had was that I could not add members to any board. After contacting Hi and getting assistance from support they determined that the Mobile UI plugin was the issue. After I activated Mobile UIs my problem was resolved.

Thanks for sharing your experience on this.   The issue should be resolved as of the Patch 3 release of Eureka, which was made available at the end of July, so it's no longer necessary to enable the mobile plugin to use VTB.   You can verify the version of Eureka you're running from the Instance Upgrade Management Dashboard (Requesting an Upgrade - ServiceNow Wiki
