Unable to create an Application

I am receiving following error when I tried to create a new application.

'Marketing Events Application' could not be created. The scope 'x_24664_marketing' could not be registered in the AppRepo for this reason: Scope is not available.

Any thoughts on this?

Hi Rajan,

Please change the app name slightly Marketing Events Application to Marketing Events Application1 or something.

Theory is app name can be used only once. Somebody might have created the app with same name already.

Hi Rajan,

For each instance there is an application repository. even if you delete the application in the instance it remains in the application repository so You cannot save same name of two application in App Repository. Please change the back-end name and it will work. you can change the label same as the old application.
