AD user want to automatically login

Hi,

we login to windows' AD domain and would like to find out if it is possible to automatically sign in to our Service-Now instance without prompting for username/password. If yes, what is required to be setup in our Service-Now instance, our AD or infrastructure for that to work.

thanks in advance.

Thanks, I have gone through the wiki before posting but I missed the SSO portion. Have you implemented this before? If yes, can you share some experience or situations to watch that are not captured in the wiki?

We don't have any thing that is a hook directly into your logged-in-user's computer (ie: the fact that they have already authenticated onto the domain does not mean you get automatically granted access to the Service-now application).

You're going to want to do something like mentioned here:

http://wiki.service-now.com/index.php?title=External_Authentication_%28Single_Sign-On_-_SSO%29

It will require some sort of authentication source on your internal network which will pass the authentication token over to your Service-now instance from a portal page, etc.

Thanks again, Aaron.
