And for a final follow-up - here are details about how the compliance score percentage is calculated when a Policy statement has children.
There are multiple steps to this one.
Step 1 - Calculate the score of the main policy statement assuming there are no children - this is the same way described previously.
Step 2 - Look at the compliance scores of all the children and take an average.
Step 3 - Add the average score of the children to the value from step 1 (the main policy statement). Divide by 2. This is the compliance score of the policy statement including it's children.

This same question was asked about 12 hours ago - so I'll ask the same questions. What version of ServiceNow are you on? (Kingston, Jakarta, etc). And are you talking about the Compliance percentage on the Policy Statement records?

I am using Kingston version. Yes on the Policy records.

There are 3 scenarios to the compliance score. If the Policy statement does not have any children policy statement then the following calculations drive the compliance score on the policy statement record.
If the Policy statement has child Policy statements, then those are taken into account. I think they are averaged, but have not validated that yet.
When a control is created, the weight is set at a default of "10". Thus all controls have the same weight. When a control is first reviewed before being processed this can be changed.
