YOu can handle this when you populate fields in RITM.
current.u_group_approval = current.item.variables.Group_Approval /// Check teh field name properly.
You can write this code in a before insert Business Rule and check in the condition where Item is the catalog item you have this field, so that it runs only for that catalog item.
Hope this helps you.
Thank for your prompt response.
I have 4 catalog items required this features.
I am not sure how to create a business rule.
Can you kindly provide a screenshot.
Can I apply this business rule to a variable set instead of a catalog item.
Since this variable set "Group Approval" attached to 4 catalog items.that required this feature.
Run it in Requested Item only. You can fetch the variable set values. Those fields must be in Catalog item right.
Yes in the 4 catalog items.
I follow your sample screenshot and created a business rule.
I also added this code "current.u_group_approval = current.item.variables.Group_Approval" in the advance script.
But the Group Approval did not get auto-populated in RITM ticket.
Not sure what happen?
Please go ahead and configure BR in your instance. Let me know in case you face any issue.
Please validate the field names, as I am not aware of the field name which is used in your instance.
Try replacing this with your dictionary names.
Group_Approval is the ccorrect field name.
Can you mention whats the field name both Requested Item and variables.
Requested item = AD Admin Account creation (this is an item name I added in the business rule)
Variable name = Group_Approval
Were you able to achieve this requirement as reply to my question is still pending.
Let me know.
Eric, in which field of Requested item do you want to populate this variable value. Please provide me that.
