I am trying to prevent users from submitting a change during change freeze period using 'change blackout schedules', But even after creating a change blackout schedule and attach the schedule to it I am still able to submit a change in those period. Could anyone please guide whether I am doing this right or there is a different method to achieve this.
Please note collision detection and black out schedule would only populate the list of changes/ci affetected on the related lists on change , only for those whose time duration defined in the schedule wont allow that change. But would not affect the submission of the record.. PLease create a script and use glideschedule('sys_
id of the schedule') to check if the planned end and start are outside the schedule else setAbortAction.
