      POSITION SUMMARY

      Responsible for the hands-on configuration and administration of the ServiceNow.com environment(s).  Administer any upgrades, configurations, or security with the network. The role is a heavily slanted toward the configuration of the ServiceNow platform using ServiceNow’s UI based configuration capabilities (Business Rules, UI Policy, Workflow, Forms, List Views, and Java Script).

      PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Perform system upgrades.
      • Manage Development, Test, and Production Instances
      • Test customizations
      • Manage update sets and promote changes.
      • Work with analyst to implement intermediate to advanced customizations.
      • Implement advanced customizations.
      • Ensure teams are configuration system per agreed upon standards.
      • Implement new ITIL processes within tool
      • Identify opportunities for process improvement, vet, and implement.
      • Creation and maintenance of documentation, such as policy, procedures, and work instructions
      • Provide first, second, and third level support as appropriate.
      • System Daily Review including performance, capacity planning, and preventative maintenance.
      • Monitors, control and management of system security levels in accordance with Access Management and Security Management policies and procedures.
      • Work with customers to ensure desired services meet agreed upon requirements.
      • Follow established IT department procedures, such as change control and release management.

       

      Degree Requirements: 

      • Bachelor’s Degree In Computer Science or related field.

       

      Certification Requirements:

      • Required - ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
      • Preferred - ITIL foundations certification recommended

       

      Required Experience

      • 3 to 5 years working in the ServiceNow platform in an Admin/Developer Capacity administering an enterprise-wide, multi-tier ServiceNow production environment, including the delegation of groups, modification of CMS, workflows, business rules, UI configuration, catalog items, reports, and updates.
      • At least 12 months experience with version Geneva or greater.
