I am using a REST get call which retrieves some data from tickets and displays it on a html page through a ruby on rails application. The issue is the date & time of the created tickets comes back in the PST timezone format and I would like it to be in the GMT format which is my local time. Does anyone know how I can do this from the get call?
You should be able to ask your ServiceNow administrators to set the time zone to GMT for the account you're using to authenticate. That's one option. You could also try using the sysparm_display_value property, documented here: http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=Table_API#GET_.2Fapi.2Fnow.2Fv1.2Ftable.2F.28tableName.29. That returns UTC.
