We would like to explore the use of test management in ServiceNOW rather than manage our current test plans / cases in Excel. What would be the best way to represent this on a story? Would it be as simple as adding a related list to a story that would show the test plan associated to that story? In our current state, we have the defect related list added to the story and have found that works extremely well. We want to take that next step and use ServiceNOW to manage our tests with the story so we can have the ability later to report back on defects found under a story that tie directly to test cases / plans.
I've attached the current view of our story record, is it as simple as adding the related list? If so, what is the correct related list to add? There are so many that end in > Parent.
We have used the TEST management for first time during our upgrade process.
we have created service-now upgrade as story and related this story with Test Management. Now we have created the test cases for this story and assigned to regression Testers and also for UAT testers. Once the Testers complete the testing they will mark it as pass, so that it will be easy for us to track who tested it and what are the steps he performed during the testing. And also we have assigned some Test cases to UAT testers, they update status of testing after finishing of testing.
I believe Test management module is effective than excel sheet, so that we can document each and every step during our upgrade.
If we found any Defects we are making a note of it and trying to fix it.

Is this feature something that is out of the box for both Agile PM and Test Management? If not, how difficult is it to get this set up?
