We are using Customer Service Management and there is a plan to publish portal pages to our customers.
We will register the contact person in charge as Contact, then we need to make Contact's user name unique.
Company name = Acme Corp, Contact name = John Smith
ServiceNow contact user name -> acme.john_smith
Please tell me about best practices on how to name Contact's username.
One option is to use an email address of the contact as a username.
For example -
Customer Account: ACME Corp / Contact Name: John Smith / User ID : email@example.com
Customer Account: Lab Corp / Contact Name: Peter Lab / User ID : firstname.lastname@example.org
Are you planning to implement contact self-registration feature?
