After upgrading to Jakarta, now when logging into the Mobile App on a Smartphone, the default screen is the Applications screen. We would like it to be the "Favorites" screen rather. Any ideas on how to accomplish this would be much appreciated. Thanks!
You can disable the default home page collection. This will disable the new home screen and only show favorites.
You can find this in the navigator under "Home Screen".
The table is sys_ui_mobile_home_page_collection. See link here for the default collection: /sys_ui_mobile_home_page_collection.do?sys_id=3413deed9f512200804fbd2e052e7087
Thanks very much, Will for your help!!!
This does not work for me - we are on Jakarta, and when you disable the default home page collection, you just get a spinning circle.
Favorites in UI16 are managed from the sys_ui_bookmark table. What appears under the star menu on the desktop is what also appears on the Favorites screen of the mobile app.
To add a favorite for everyone, they need to already have no favorites. You can then create one for everyone to get when they first login. Use the "Home" entry in sys_ui_bookmark as an example.
If they already have favorites created (the user has been on the system for a while and marked a few things their favorites), then you'll need to manually create one for them that they own (e.g. User=them)
