Create Read or Report-on ACL on the timecard table for non-admins.
They will also need Read access on that table.
There's a report_on ACL that an admin can set for the table. Depending on how permissions are set on that table, they may need to create them for specific fields as well.
True. I have also noticed sometimes, that with just Report_on on the table, you also need Read ACL for the records. Strangely just Report_on does not work if users does not have read access.
If i were you i would never recommend this...may i know the business reason as why you would like to achieve this?
Have you thought about setting up the reports for them and scheduling them to run weekly ( or even daily if that's what is needed ).
You can have the reports emailed to the managers. Do it as a PDF and no special access will be needed.
